College is in its 7th week, and yet I still feel like everything just started. What to talk about first.... hmm, well, we can start with school I guess. First, my English class is killing me, so many writing assignments, I hate writing assignments, the only thing I seem to enjoy typing and writing about is my own personal thoughts on internet journals. Music downloading is on hiatus because of the riskiness in college. I learned that copyright holders actually look more into colleges to catch Illegal downloaders. So, all I seem to have for now is the music I have with me, and perhaps anything anyone is willing to give me. I really do want to have an actual physical copy of Epik Highs new album [e], then again haha, I should really listen to the album before I buy it. uhm.. i had more to say, but i was distracted playing ping pong ...so. until later. :D

So..I+retreat= †

So, Friday afternoon, I'm in anticipation to get out of my last class of the week! Now, the reason was because in several hours I would be at my very first, New Hope retreat! (hooray). So the first night, Friday night, was still iffy, I had gotten to know some people before the retreat, but not so much the whole college group. But Dang, the feeling of welcomness (made up word) is something that rivals old Hope youth, they were super friendly, and most people will just be casual and talk to like what-ev. so all in all, I had made a bunch of new friends in a matter of a couple of days, and already I notice them around campus.. and that's pretty surprising, seeing that this school is huge. So at the retreat we had the first night of praise, it was kinda weird for me since their usual songs were ones I had either never heard of, or Old ones I hadn't sung in forever. After praise we go into small groups, >-> most people were either from western NY or from the city. One of my group leaders was from Ridgefield tho, i haven't asked him if he's heard of Hope lol. The whole retreat experience reaffirmed my faith in God, as my strong streak was wavering in these later times of college. Now, I'm part of the intermural volleyball team, I'm going to be attending Wednesday praise services, Friday night Praise, Sunday Service, and even another thing unaffiliated with the church on thursdays, and possible one mondays.. haha.. and I thought it would be hard to keep my faith in college. GOD MAKES A WAY. so all in all.. this week is going strong as one of my good weeks.
